There are many types of slip rings, such as optical fiber slip rings, conductive slip rings, brush slip rings, etc. The wiring methods of slip rings are different, and the wiring methods of different types of slip rings are also different. Some are terminal and some are plug type. The key depends on your actual application.

The conductive slip ring is mainly composed of a stator and a rotor connected in series through wires. The stator of the conductive slip ring is fixed on the copper ring of the bearing seat, and the rotor (brush wire) is fixed on the casing. After arranging the combinations one by one, a complete circuit is formed.
If the number of passages is very large, there will be two or three oval outlet holes. The outlet wires at the stator end are generally the outlet wires on the side end surface, usually 1 to 2 oval outlet holes; if it is flange type, the stator end and The rotor end can be drawn from the middle of the slip ring. If the slip ring is relatively large, the wire can also be drawn from the side. The split-type slip ring is different from the former two. The split-type slip ring`s rotor end leads from the shaft wall of the central shaft, and the stator end leads from the brush holder on the side.
The slip ring connector is usually installed at the rotation center of the equipment, and it is mainly composed of two parts: rotating and stationary. The rotating part is connected to the rotating structure of the equipment and rotates with it, called the "rotor", and the stationary part is connected to the fixed structure of the equipment, called the "stator". Make sure that the "rotor" and "stator" are running in a natural state. Slip rings are divided into cylindrical type and disc type according to the structure. The rings of a cylindrical slip ring are arranged along the axis of the cylinder.
